According to the Greek Ministry's of Education and Religion's release, new -European sponsored- educational programs concerning the Roma minority are to run, during the 2010-2011 school period. The Greek Ministry of Education seems to support these efforts, such as the enrollment and the active participation of the Roma children to the Greek schools. Keeping that similar efforts from the government's side have failed the past years, it is questionable if the announcements will ever become reality.
